Jesus and Unbelievers were about to fire each other right before He died for His people’s sins, and it reminded me of how God is judging the people of North Carolina and the South through Hurricane Helene and the devastation caused by its divided people. God is probably judging the world right now. In other words, they’re about to get fired by God, as the Bible says in the Gospel of Matthew chapter 12.
I was once about to get fired from my job because I couldn’t do it. I hated the archaic training and eventually, nearly everything about the place. So, I quickly found another job. Thank God I found a suitable job.
Judgment and firing are synonymous.
What do we need to do? What do the people of North Carolina and the South and me and you, all, need to do? What does God say? The Bible starts to say what we, all, should be doing in the First Book of Moses, called Genesis, chapter 2, verses 15-17: “And Jehovah God took the man and put him into the Garden of Eden, to work it and to keep it. And Jehovah God commanded the man, saying, Eating you may eat of every tree in the garden; but the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil you may not eat, for in the day of the eating of it, dying you shall die.” We need to be on good terms with God by completely obeying what He says in His lawbook, the Bible because Jesus says, “You are my friends if you do whatever I command you.” (God says that in the Gospel of John, chapter 15, verse 14.) That is a sign we will graduate to eternal life in paradise with God.
I hope and pray that all obey God because Jesus also commands us, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself,” in Matthew chapter 22, verse 39. Hopefully, all will be blessed to move on to a better job as I did.
