God’s Business

The murderer revisited
In the morning with the light, he slithered inside
With the Lord who makes things right, on this side of life
The murderer revisited
with the wound that never dies that’s his, made just right
With a tune of those who cry that’s with me this time

A burden that’s mine to bear

Not hurrying, I sit with him
From the north I’m here to stay, my mission’s enough
Filled with awe I also say, I listen, and trust
Not worrying like hypocrites
Unlike yours we seldom play, as Christians, we love
I’m not lost these deadly days, with Him, up, above

Life is deadly serious
I’m incredibly fortunate

You intended evil against me
but God meant it for good

And murmuring are simpletons
Morning, evening, when men take, the women complain
Crying, weeping, every day, a listless display
They’re workers of iniquity
Like a donkey they all bray as his eat the prey
Not a zombie I’m remade, I live! Jesus saves!

I’ve been sent to say
I’m incredibly fortunate

You intended evil against me
but God meant it for good
