Christmas Understanding

Christmas is a time of blessing
And we learn the greatest lessons
Giving is a friendly gesture
when the world is getting desperate

It’s so cold in Pennsylvania
in New Jersey and the nation
Blizzards, here, have hardened faces
The return of Jesus would make me so grateful this Christmas

Hear the cattle as they’re lowing
Most ignore or do not know it
I imagine trumpets blow and
angels form a line of soldiers

Shining down’s the star of Satan
“I’m allowed this adoration…”
In this wicked subjugation
the return of Jesus would make me so grateful this Christmas
But the earth’s the LORD’S and he does the most loving thing with us

We will be with friends this Christmas
with a ton of food for dinner
Feasting makes a festive difference
in a home a step from Winter

Love is what the season’s aim is
Smile while serving your close neighbors
Still, I’m hoping and I’m praying
The return of Jesus would make me so grateful this Christmas
But the earth’s the LORD’S and he does the most loving thing with us

Iron sharpens iron; so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend

Jesus is the man; Jesus is my friend

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

May the good LORD keep you strong.
