Dear Employerdestroyer

With your merchants here, in my face
only the goodness that you have put deep inside of me’s
keeping me sane
Greedy men (What do they think they are gaining?)
and ambitious women (Nothing that’s left here’s worth taking)
at the train wreck

Answers in your book
Few have cared to look
to the employer
and the destroyer

Endless problems with every phase
Only the goodness that you have put here, inside of me’s
keeping me safe
Miles of loads rumbling toward derailment
a divided line but luckily, I’m not remaining
at the train wreck

My heart’s breaking
my mind’s hazy
my will’s shaky
but my spirit’s strengthened

From the mountain’s peak
everyone can see
you, the employer
and the destroyer

I don’t want to face one more day
Only the goodness that you have put clean inside of me’s
keeping me brave
Mumbling men (What are they so afraid of?)
and complaining women (None will arrest all the traitors)
at the train wreck

As I’ve said
my heart’s breaking
my mind’s hazy
my will’s shaky
but my spirit’s strengthened
as I’m lifted away

Where there is no vision, the people perish
but he that keeps the law, happy is he

Counsel through the end’s
comfort from a friend
who’s the employer
and the destroyer
