There are three kinds of people: supernatural, natural, and unnatural.
“And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.” (Genesis 2:15)
“And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: for God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat” (Genesis 3:4-6)
So much fantasy!
They’re all rotten weak superheroes
Can’t trust what you see
Still, we’ve got to be superheroes
Many monsters near…
I wish I had a hero
Most is fake, you see, fakery
They pretend to be superheroes
That’s not blood they bleed (plain to see)
but a test to be superheroes
Be the best we’ll be…
You’re the rest I need…
I wish I had a hero
But you want me to be a hero
Use your eyes and
see how I’m consistent
I don’t lie, now
’cause my mind’s on missions
Like the Bible I am tied to
Jesus Christ the winner
Like my life’s not wholly mine but
I’m in line and listen
Not advice but
Only one, for me, one I need, one to please
I don’t rush to see superheroes
Not a childish dream, nihilist scheme, vile machine
Must be wild to be superheroes
Mother’s child? Not me!
Not her tiny sheep…
Father’s wild one’s free…
Only Christ can keep…
Don’t wish I had a hero
’cause you want me to be a hero
You and me is where we need to be
