Finishing Things

There will always be problems in our lives…

There are people and programs I want to use to help me solve problems, but I can’t figure out how to use them…

Many think the world is overwhelming, but we can’t do much about it…

Why?

Because there’s only one good person in the world, and that is Jesus Christ because he said there is no one good, except God, and he proved that he is God, so, he’s the only good one. And we can’t go to others to help us because God will make it clear that all of us will only get what we need from him. The Bible says that God is a jealous God. He will get all of our love and attention and he will prove that he is our only provider deserving our trust and thanks and praise. Of course, this is difficult to accept.

God is, believe it or not, letting problems happen, or causing them to happen. “The earth is the LORD’S” the Bible says, in Psalm 24, so, he has complete control of everything. And the Bible says that everybody knows that there is a God. So, why argue about the way things are going? We should accept that God is letting everyone know that he is in charge, whether we like it or not.

The Bible also says that the government is on God’s shoulder. All of the institutions, like our governments, should only do what God intended them to do, and no more, not things that people make them do that take the place of God. If we can’t accept this, we will have to learn the hard way, and many will.

Many believe this a judgment period, and God will make significant changes. The Bible says the first will be last and the last first, many will be left out, and God will make all things new. It orders, in Psalm 46:10: “Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.” We need to start there. We need to stay still, and know that God, and only God, is God, not ourselves, not our brothers and sisters, and not our government and other institutions.

God is showing us he is our only provider.
