Iron cage! Iron cage!
I’m a bird in the iron cage
Without love
the designers must like it
But they’ll die here
I’m on fire
and I’ll fly far from here
Iron cage! Iron cage!
I’m a bird in the iron cage
But some day I will fly away
High above
the Designer stands by, but
does not like it
He swung by, once
And he’ll cry, “Fly from here!”
Iron cage! Iron cage!
I’m a bird in the iron cage
But some day I will fly away
Just enough
with one eye on the eye of
the Designer
If he smiles, then
I will sigh, “Thank you, sir!”
Iron cage! Iron cage!
I’m a bird in the iron cage
But some day I will fly away
And I will leave this world behind
Goodbye, ahead of time
Say Hi to friends up, in the sky
Things come and go… I wrote this poem in the past hour and a half. So quick! But things could just as quickly be coming to an end. Because of financial difficulties I might not be able to afford to pay the website provider to keep Permanence Science going. Twice, I went to the trouble of setting up a Pay Pal “Donate” button on it, but nobody gave a red cent. I couldn’t afford to pay a lot of money to a website developer to enable businesses advertise on this website, so I could receive even a little bit of income. Nobody responded to my efforts to get some help with that, either. And nobody wants to collaborate with me, or asks to hear me speak, or wants me to write with or for them, and hardly anybody even writes to me, here. It’s sad, I think, that some people do so well, and others are neglected, but that’s what the world wants and doesn’t want, and I don’t have what the market wants, so, you might not see Permanence Science after June 15, 2019.
