Follow After the Things Which Make for Peace

The season of peace is on its way. We, all, want peace, so, how do we get it?

A coworker friend who’s always positive says he looks forward to good things happening in his life to keep positive. It’s needless to say he’s popular at work.

I called a friend to ask why he seldom complained about problems, and he said that since he is weak, he gets an easy life from God. My friend is pretty strong, but he is very humble.

Another friend never got back to me when I called and left a message asking the same question.

One of my neighbors takes care of stray cats and built a home for them. I admired that.

Another friend has cancer treatment, a busy career helping people and runs a household. Although she is fighting cancer with a good diet, she is open and honest and always asks for prayer.

Another coworker is often a little too confrontational and I’ve had to refer to the internet to judge who’s right and wrong. But this led me to realize that the Bible is another judge, and it is the ultimate Judge. And it says that it and Jesus are one and the same.

I’m thankful for everyone and everything but the Holy Trinity of God the Father, God the Son and the Holy Spirit is my only one hundred percent perfect friend. It’s complicated but that’s the way it is.

Peace is through relationships.
