Half-built buildings only slowly rot
Half-grown children, never to the top
Half-heard music, when you never want
Half-dead users, soon, it all will stop
when God takes care of business
Half-filled orders when they have to shop
Half-told stories, honesty got chopped
Half-paid farmers burning half their crops
Half-read novels, it’s a twisted plot
when God takes care of business
I think all of us have seen
the LORD take care of business
But it wasn’t just a dream
the dream is how some live here
Without money, stuff has changed a lot
Without coffee, I am fairly calm
Mixed-up heathen eat so much they starve
Wicked gluttons with such empty hearts
when God takes care of business
Store-bought sinners, the LORD will come and visit
ignore this at your peril
he’s warned us, did you listen?
