As I’m basking in the warm sunlight that’s
by my building I am far from here
Near the noisy highway that reminds me
that I’d like to move to somewhere warm, like Florida
You have seen so many gone by now
When are we moving on from here?
And it seems very odd to say
you’re the one who’s in charge around here
So, who cares about obnoxious cars on the highway
when the insect-eaters flock together to migrate?
As the birds plan to fly through the sky though
even they don’t want to go as far as I’ll go
Though not alone, Lord, you’re all that I’m
thinking about these days
Though it’s so cold in the world
much love for you still remains
When few ever notice the yellow, red, golden
orange leaves on the trees as they’re falling down
and they hardly know, like your mellow tame soldier
tender’s only for chicken for all of them
So, while the world’s judging and hating
you’re loving me in the division
and this, I appreciate greatly
We’re having a happy Thanksgiving
Happy Thanksgiving wishes
