Judges in their chambers

Drove past her work where posts are crooked
That nasty church he actually stood in
Her health club, too, it’s not the same
It’s gone from view, I’m in their place

It’s sad, what’s happening to her
He’s a bad man
It sickens me, inside
He’s a despicable guy

I passed her streets, which are abandoned
Ride fast by trees, so badly damaged
The moon was low, I drove real slow
The wind would moan, but let it go

Enter into your chambers and close your doors
till the indignation is no more, you ordered
In your command is love
but there’s no one around that I have total love for
With your whole heart you’ll soon know love and respect

The candle’s dark, here, there’s no strength left
The lamp of love is full of anger
The fire’s hot, I feel his heat
To mold your heart and make it beat

You and I are on the right track
We have a love that lasts and lasts

The tea is sweet, the way I take it
You need to see I know your favorite
Too hot, you know, but that’s alright
So, sip it slow, we have all night

You know what I like most about my judgeship?
What’s that?
Collecting evidence, and gathering facts
