Noah Found Grace in the Eyes of Jehovah

“And Jehovah said to Noah, You and all your house come into the ark, for I have seen you a righteous one before Me in this generation. You shall take to yourself from every clean animal by sevens, male and female, and from the animal that is not clean by two, male and female. And take of the fowl of the heavens by sevens, male and female, to keep alive seed on the face of the earth. For after seven more days I will cause it to rain on the earth forty days and forty nights and will wipe out every living substance that I have made from off the face of the earth.” (Genesis 7:1-4 (KJ3))

“And Jehovah said, The cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and their sin is exceedingly heavy.  I will go down and see if they have at all done according to the cry coming to Me. And if not, I will know. And the men faced around from there and went toward Sodom. And Abraham was still standing before Jehovah.” (Genesis 18:20-22 (KJ3))

“And the men said to Lot, Who still is here to you? Bring out of this place your sons and your sons-in-law and your daughters, and whoever belongs to you in the city. For we are about to destroy this place, for the cry of them is great before Jehovah, and Jehovah has sent us to destroy it. And Lot went out to speak to his sons in-law, those taking his daughters. And he said, Rise up, go out from this place, for Jehovah is about to destroy the city. And he seemed as one joking to his sons-in-law. And when the dawn rose, even the angels urged Lot, saying, Rise up, take your wife and your two daughters who are found, lest you be cut off in the depravity of the city. And he lingered. And the men lay hold of his hand and his wife’s hand, and on the hand of his two daughters, Jehovah having mercy on him. And they caused him to go out, and they put him down outside the city. And it happened as they led them outside, he said, Escape for your life! Do not look behind you, and do not stay in all the plain. Escape to the mountain, lest you be swept away. And Lot said to them, Lord, please, no! Behold, now, Your servant has found grace in Your sight, and You have magnified Your mercy which You have done to me in saving my life. And I am not able to escape to the mountain lest some evil overtake me and I die. Please, now, this city is near, to flee there, and it is a little one. Please let me escape there! Is it not a little thing, that my soul may live? And He said to him, See, I have lifted up your face also as to this thing, without overthrowing the city for which you have spoken. Hurry, escape there, for I am not able to do a thing until you have come there. On this account the name of the city was called Zoar. The sun had gone forth on the earth, and Lot came into Zoar. And Jehovah rained brimstone and fire on Sodom and Gomorrah, from Jehovah out of the heavens. And He overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all those living in the cities, and the produce of the ground.” (Genesis 19:12-25 (KJ3))

“Whoever keeps the command shall not know an evil thing. The heart of the wise ones know both time and judgment. Because there is a time and judgment to every purpose, in this the evil of man is great upon him.” (Ecclesiastes 8:5-6 (KJ3))

“Therefore when you see the abomination of desolation, which was spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place (the one reading, let him understand), Dan. 11:31; 12:1 then let those in Judea flee into the mountains; the one on the housetop, let him not go down to take anything out of his house; and the one in the field, let him not turn back to take his clothes. But woe to the ones having a child in womb, and to those suckling in those days! And pray that your flight will not occur in winter nor in a sabbath. For there will be great affliction, such as has not happened from the beginning of the world until now, no, nor will be. And except those days were cut short, not any flesh would be saved. But on account of the elect, those days will be cut short.” (Matthew 24:15-22 (KJ3))

“And immediately after the affliction of those days the sun will be darkened and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from the heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. And then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the heavens. And then all the tribes of the land will wail. And they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and much glory. Dan. 7:13 And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather His elect from the four winds, from the extreme limits of the heavens to the extreme limits of them. But learn the parable of the fig tree: When its branch already becomes tender and it puts out leaves, you know that the summer is near; so also you, when you see all these things, know that it is near at the doors.” (Matthew 24:29-33 (KJ3))

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through Him, and without Him not even one thing came into being that has come into being. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men; and the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overtake it.” (John 1:1-5 (KJ3))

“But about the times and the seasons, brothers, you have no need for it to be written. For you yourselves know accurately that the day of the Lord, as a thief in the night, so it comes. For when they say, Peace and safety! Then sudden destruction comes upon them, like the birth-pain to the one having babe in womb, and they shall not escape, not one. But you, brothers, are not in darkness, that the Day should overtake you as a thief. You are all sons of light and sons of day; we are not of night, nor of darkness.” (1 Thessalonians 5:1-5 (KJ3))

“Beloved ones, I now write to you this second epistle, in which I stir up your pure mind in a reminder to remember the words having been spoken previously by the holy prophets, and the commandment of the Lord and Savior by us, the apostles; first, knowing this, that during the last days scoffers will come, going on according to their own lusts, and saying, Where is the promise of His coming? For from which time the fathers fell asleep, all things remain so from the beginning of creation. For this escapes their notice by their willing it so, that heavens were of old, and earth by water, and through water, subsisting by the Word of God, through which the world which then was, being flooded by water, perished. But the heavens and the earth now, being stored up by the same Word, are being kept for fire to a day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.” (2 Peter 3:1-7 (KJ3))

“A Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave to Him to show to His slaves things which must occur quickly. And He signified by sending through His angel to His slave, John, who testified of the Word of God and the witness of Jesus Christ, even as many things as he saw. Blessed is the one reading, and the ones hearing the words of this prophecy, and keeping the things having been written; for the time is near.” (Revelation 1:1-3 (KJ3))
