North Star

You’ve got all you’re needing to live
what more could I give you?
This world’s so frigid
my love must be it
The life that I’m living

As trust grows more and more

Good things for us
but bad things for bad people
You’re from the north country
and you’re my North Star

I won’t be requiring much
but freedom to love you
My independence
is more than enough
till we’re a true couple

They’re calling for a storm

Good things for us
but bad things for bad people
You’re from the north country
and you’re my North Star

Constant love, reliable friend
total destruction for them
You’re from the north country
and you’re my North Star

So, soon we’ll be skating away
from this wretched place but
this indignation’s
a fiery lake
we’ll spend the last days on

Not nice but you’re so warm

Good things for us
but bad things for bad people
You’re from the north country
and you’re my North Star

I’ve been lowered down, into the muck
of a dungeon, but it’s making me tough
There’s still hope, left, in my heart
You’re from the north country
and you’re my North Star
