Ransomed

Gold and silver’s sent
I’ve been richly blessed
knowing little stress
working with my friend

I reflect a lot
And have travelled far
to that distant star
searched with all my heart

Mercifully, it’s God
who’s got mercy

While the world’s deceived
I have seen reprieves
Never dreaming dreams
learning thoughts of peace

I enjoy the rain
and endure some pain
but will not lay blame
murmur or complain

Eternally, by God’s power
Every hour in his tower

Till the day we’ll reign
in an open space
when I’ll see the way
burning down the place

Toward the vulnerable flock
travelling from afar
with his outstretched arms
certainly, it’s God

God turns things around
three hundred and sixty degrees

As a bull unaccustomed to being chastised I repented
and after that I was instructed
’cause the LORD has redeemed me and ransomed me
from the hand of he that was stronger than me
