When We Wake Up

I was riding a mountain bike in a park, and a young man dribbling a basketball came toward me, so, I turned to the left and rode down a long open road I’d never been down before. There were trees and a steep path up a hill I passed until I stopped and realized I’d have to go back to where the basketball player was to get to the main road to get home. Who knew what would happen back there? I didn’t know where I was or what to do. And I woke up. It was just a dream.

I thought, “I wake up and God is with me… That’s my cat on my bed right by my side.” And I thought, “We can wake up, as from a bad dream, and know that God is in control of everything.”

God takes care of us.
