Having Fun Making Lunch

When I was a young man, I took a career aptitude test. On a scale where One was Cheerful and Ten was Serious it showed I was a Four, a little more Cheerful than Serious. This meant I was immature.

But I learned what I needed to do.

Now, I’m almost normal, though boring. People don’t like me that much. But I consider myself well-rounded, so, I’m proud to be boring as I’m covering all the bases and being serious about everything. So, I’m not flashy, and popular, but at least I’m taking care of business.

Here’s a little rhyme:

While you were out, having fun
I was at home making lunch

I think people are deficient because they have big gaps in their knowledge. The most important thing in life is God, not self, career, government, family, love – nothing. God is our provider. I think it should be obvious. Nothing is as important as being able to live eternally with God in paradise. But most people don’t consider it essential. And almost all do not know the Bible. This is the Jewish Christian Heritage part of Western civilization neglected by most Westerners. So, we don’t have a world tomorrow… Who cares? Unfortunately, few really care.

Here’s a riddle: When is life death?

Is life a game? Or is it deadly serious? Life is not a game; it is deadly serious. Life is death when it’s deadly serious.

So, if you have to err, err on the side of being too serious. Sure, it’s boring, but it’s more correct than being too cheerful.

I hope everyone has a Happy Valentine’s Day.
