You made some wine when they ran out
that was so good it made them ask
who saves the best till it’s the end?
I know so well the distant past

For most, it’s the apocalypse

and rained upon all in the plain
as enemies are all dethroned
I’ll serve the LORD despite their pain

This is a great mystery
I speak concerning Christ and the church
They killed you when the tree was green
the time we serve in it is dry
When Joseph begged to take you down
and bury you he risked his life
