Eternal Spring

It’s springtime and she’s not alone
but it’s been a long, cold winter
The snow’s been falling and she froze
in a winter that’s been frigid

Honeybees and bumblebees, she loves
yellow jackets and wasps, not so much
but it’s spring

And the owner and the rancher and the farmer have been good to her

It’s springtime and all things will grow
but it’s been a stormy winter
The wind’s been blowing and she’s cold
It’s the winter of the sinners

Robins and cardinals will always sing
but she knows it’s the beginning of spring
when she hears a chorus sing

And the owner and the rancher and the farmer have been good to her
so, the owner and the rancher and the farmer should be praised
’cause the owner and the rancher and the farmer have been sweet
all the way

It’s springtime and the kings will know
there’s eternal spring, no winter
The birds have sung, it fills her soul
and she knows that she’s a winner

Her wisdom is pure, peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated
full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy
and the fruit of righteousness

And the owner and the rancher and the farmer have been good to her
so, the owner and the rancher and the farmer should be praised
’cause the owner and the rancher and the farmer have been sweet
all the way

The winter is over
it’s springtime and summer
forever and ever
and she and the owner and the rancher and the farmer are one and
they’re friends altogether
