Enjoy the Superbowl under the sunny, blue sky of South Florida.

In New Jersey, we have the blues because it’s winter.

 

 

When it is freezing outside
they come to Wildwood and see
They don’t mind standing on line
where, even penguins would freeze

All come see President Trump
Hear them all screaming and yet
They are all cheering for us
(really the girl I just met)

I’m in the water non-stop
But it’s all ice, there’s no surf

Trump and the faithful heard lines
sweeter than even The Voice
It gets real quiet inside
They wait to hear our great noise

Washington even had peace
Europe and Africa dreamed
China and Russia were freed
interesting, as it may seem

And I’m surfing at the Jersey Shore                                                                                  in the middle of the winter

On a treadmill, never getting                                                                                          any closer to the treasure

No, a joker never winning

So, I practically live at the Shore
in a blizzard
I’d do anything to see her more
though it’s frigid

It will be a red Superbowl. The San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs both have red uniforms. You might notice them, in between the Secular Humanist commercials.

The Chiefs have quarterback Patrick Mahomes leading a dynamic, high-powered offense, and they have a pretty good defense. The 49ers have quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo leading a good offense, and they have an excellent defense.

Mahomes injured his kneecap a few months ago but still runs and passes very well – and a lot. The NFL doesn’t want an injured star. That would break the fans’ hearts; and they would stop spending their money. But the opposing teams want, badly, to stop star quarterbacks. The league will make more rules for that. As in chess, where the players want to capture the king, the football players will want to injure the quarterback. In chess, the king is the most valuable one to get. But in football, as in all sports, they can never touch the king. The king will always live on. More on that, later.

Tomorrow, they’ll honor the late basketball star Kobe Bryant. May the LORD comfort Kobe Bryant’s friends, fans and family. In my opinion, his death was such a preventable tragedy.

I’m not sure who will win tomorrow, but it could be high-scoring. Every team that I’ve wanted to win has lost. Many know a lot but can’t always predict who will win in the Superbowl – or other things. But ultimately, God determines who wins. Florida could get cursed and get New Jersey’s weather.
